Mira is not only a champion for housing but also the multimodal transportation options and the neighborhood feel necessary to make a collection of homes into an affordable and socially cohesive community.
To combat the housing affordability crisis, Mira knows we need to build more housing where we already are, especially around our transit system (of which she is a fierce advocate and daily bus rider).
Mira's vision for an Orlando that is more walkable, bikeable, and allows for more mixed use communities will result in a city that is physically and mentally healthier, more prosperous, financially sustainable, and environmentally resilient.
